• Do you offer in-person therapy?

    Currently, I am only offering virtual therapy sessions. I am planning to introduce in-person therapy in Orange County, CA, sometime next year. You are welcome to begin virtually with me now and transition to in-person sessions when they become available.

  • Do you take insurance?

    To provide you with the most focused and personalized care, I currently operate as an out-of-network provider and do not take insurance. However, I am happy to provide you with a Superbill (a detailed receipt of services) that you can easily submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • How much does therapy cost?

    Individual Therapy: $150 - 50 minute session

    Family Therapy: $275 for 50minute session

    Payment is due prior to session initiating. Refer to the FEES pages for additional information on prices for extended sessions.

  • How often do I need to go to therapy?

    Every individuals needs are different, most clients attend weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions. We’ll discuss your schedule needs and treatment recommendations when you begin therapy and continue to re-assess your needs. 

  • What age demographic clients do you work with?

    My practice focuses exclusively on individual therapy for adults aged 18+. I do not currently offer couples therapy or services for children and adolescents. I am happy to provide referrals for qualified therapists specializing in those areas upon request.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Sessions canceled less than 24 hours before appointment time will be charged the full session rate.

  • Do you provide therapy in other languages?

    Sí, fluent in Spanish and have extensive experience providing culturally-informed individual and family therapy for Spanish-speaking clients.

  • What if I don't feel like we are a good fit?

    Finding the right therapist is crucial, and it's perfectly normal if the fit isn't right. We can discuss your concerns, and I will happily offer referrals to other trusted professionals who may be better suited to your needs.

  • What are my rights under the No Surprise Act?

    Under federal law, health care providers must provide patients who don’t have health insurance or are not using insurance with an estimate of their bill for health care services before those services are provided. This estimate is called a Good Faith Estimate.

    You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of services upon request or when scheduling services.

    You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in a way that is accessible to you.

    You have the right to have your provider explain the estimate to you upon request.

    You have the right to dispute a bill for services that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate.
